(09/05/23) morning, GIZ SASCI+ Central Sulawesi, JB Cocoa, PT MARS, Buying Station and the Poso District Agriculture Service held an audience with dr. VERNA GM INKIRIWANG as Regent of Poso accompanied by Dra. CHRISNAWATI LIMBONG as Assistant for the Economy and Development of Poso Regency.
The Regent welcomed the support of the parties regarding increasing the productivity and quality of cocoa beans in Poso Regency. However, the Regent hopes that intensive coordination between work partners and the Poso Agriculture Service will continue to be improved. As a follow-up, the Regent and off-takers such as JB Cocoa and Rain Forest Alliance (as GIZ's working partners in Poso Regency) signed a Cooperation Agreement which was carried out on May 10 2023 at the "Festival of Agricultural Agribusiness" in Poso.
